Reverse Advent -Supporting the local food bank at Christmas
Fri 27 Nov 2020Dear Parents
As last year, in this time of giving, we have decided to support the local food bank in the run up to Christmas.
During the period of advent, from Tuesday 1 December, this is an opportunity to give rather than receive. We will be collecting tinned items such vegetables, tuna or tomatoes, biscuits, dried beans/pulses, tea, coffee, sugar and everyday toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel, soap, toilet rolls, toothpaste, toothbrushes, nappies, baby wipes baby formula, washing up liquid, cereal bars, flour etc.
Children can also earn house points for their colour team when they donate. There will be a box in each bubble shared area for the children to put their donated items in. The food bank will collect all donations on Wednesday 16th December so you can bring your donations any day until then.
Thank you for your support.

Parents Evenings
Mon 16 Nov 2020Dear Parent/Carer
Parents’ Evening - Online Appointment Booking for Virtual Video Meeting
I would like to invite you to attend our virtual video call Parents’ Evening on Monday 23 and Wednesday 25 November for Years 3 and 5 and Tuesday 24 and Thursday 26 November for Years 4 and 6. This is an important evening which provides you with an opportunity to discuss your child’s progress.
The school has introduced a new and easy to use online appointment booking system for your virtual online video meeting. It allows you to choose your own appointment times with teachers and you will receive an email confirming your appointments.
Appointments can be made from Monday 16 November at 19:00 hours and will close at 15:00 hours the day before the last Parents’ Evening for each year group. Should you wish to make any changes after this date please contact the school office.
Please visit https://mudefordjunior.schoolcloud.co.uk/ to book your appointments. A short guide on how to add appointments can be found on the website www.mudefordjs.co.uk.
You will find a video message from each Year Group on the Year Group pages of the website, informing you about the progress being made by the class.
It is essential that you are logged in ready for your meeting as the allocated ten minutes begins to count down from your appointment time. The programme will only allow ten minutes from the time of the teacher opening the video call with yourself.
Yours sincerely
M Partridge
