Achievements
Mudeford Junior School Rights Respecting Schools Accreditation 2020 - 2023. The Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA) recognises achievement in putting the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) at the heart of a school’s planning, policies, practice and ethos. A rights-respecting school not only teaches about children’s rights but also models rights and respect in all its relationships: between teachers / adults and pupils, between adults and between pupils. We are extremely proud that Mudeford Junior School is a UNICEF UK Gold Rights Respecting School which promotes the Rights and Responsibilities of all the community in the school (valid 2020 - 2023)

Development of the School Accomodation
Six out of the eight classrooms at Mudeford Junior School were undersized according to the national formulae. Two of these classrooms were significantly below the minimum capacity stipulated by the government.
The governors of the school have worked alongside Dorset LA and have been able to agree the development of two new classrooms to replace the smallest two classrooms being used by the children. It has also been a priority to develop the security at the front of the school. The classrooms were available to use for the first time during the academic Year 2018 onwards. The new classrooms and toilets were finished in September 2018. Plans for the newly added classrooms and reception can be seen below:
