Child Protection Procedure

The emotional and physical well being of every child in our school is fundamental to the ethos and success of the school. Every member of staff is committed to protecting children from harm and abuse.

Our school strives to work in partnership with parents and agencies to meet our child welfare responsibilities. Our first priority is your child’s welfare and therefore there may be occasions when our concern about your child means that we have to consult other agencies before we contact you. 

The Designated Safeguarding Lead for Child Protection is the Mr Partridge (Headteacher). Deputy Safeguarding leads are Mr Goodlet (Assistant Headteacher) Mrs Miller (Lower Junior Team Leader) and Miss McKinley (Lower Junior Team Leader).

Use of Photographs in School

The use of multi-media technology such as digital photography in schools is increasing. This is a sensitive issue and we wish to manage the use of photography in school in a sensible and realistic way. We will seek parental authorisation in order to do so. A copy of our guidance on using images of children is available from school or by going to to the Policies section of the Website, alternatively click below.
