We are enjoying reading Rick Riordan's novel 'Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief.

This is a novel we are sharing as a class, regularly throughout the week. We are completing challenges, reflections and tasks linked to the book as we read the chapters to help us understand the characters, the author's intent, the plot and much more. We hope this will inspire us in our further reading and writing.

We are studying the Ancient Greeks in our History topic this term and we are finding the novel is helping our history knowledge as well as our history knowledge helping us understand some of the themes in the novel too!
