Whole School Newsletter
Whole School Newsletter May 2026
The summer term is always very busy with lots going on. The Year 6 children have sat their SATs this week. We are very proud of how they have approached the week and the maturity that they have shown.
Several trips have been planned in for this term as well as the fast approaching Sports Day. All dates for the term can be found on the school website (school calendar).
Sports Day for all year groups
All parents and grandparents welcome to attend Sports Day on Tuesday 19th May - 10:30 - 12:15. The event will last approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
The children will need to wear their school PE kit (black or navy shorts/black or navy jogging bottoms) to school with a plain coloured t-shirt (depending on their house colour.)
If you are unable to find a T-Shirt of that colour, your child will be able to use their navy Mudeford PE top or a plain white T-Shirt, which we will then put a coloured label / bib on.
You child will also need in school: a water bottle, sun cream and hat if hot, their school jumper and any medication such as inhalers etc.
In the event of bad weather, the school will make a decision by 9.30am on the day if it is necessary to postpone this event and will reschedule it for Tuesday 2nd June, 10:30 – 12:15.
School Photographer
The school photographer will be visiting on Thursday 21 May to take whole class photographs. We ask children to come in school in full school uniform, wearing school shoes. If classes have PE on that day (3HY,3TN and 4MR) we ask them to bring in a separate pair of trainers which they can change into later in the day for sporting activities.
