Welcome back to the summer term, as always, this is a busy term. All dates for the term can be found on the school website in the calendar section.

Many congratulations to Miss Egan who is expecting her first baby in the autumn term.

 

Summer term after school clubs

 

Teacher led after school clubs, with the exception of Gardening club, British Sign Language Club, Athletics clubs (Yrs 5 and 6) and Year 6 workshops, have now ceased.

Dates and details for Gardening, BSL and Athletics clubs will be sent out separately.

 

 

Wraparound care

 

Pouncing Panthers have now established themselves as the school’s extended service provider.  If you require childcare before or after school, bookings can be made on the day via the Pouncing Panthers website.

 

Sports Day for all year groups

 

All parents welcome to attend Sports Day on Tuesday 21st May - 10:30 - 12:15. The event will last approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

 

 

Friday Morning Cardio Tennis, Health and Wellbeing Session for Parents

 

Cardio tennis for all parents will continue throughout the summer term – Friday mornings 8.50am – 10am. All Parents of Mudeford Junior School children are welcome, no booking necessary. Just turn up on the day!  Ally and Adam will be offering a fun morning of cardio tennis, fitness and fun for parents. Enjoy a morning of great activities, in a fun, friendly environment, all abilities welcome for an inclusive session. These sessions will be FREE of charge.

 

School Photographer

 

The school photographer will be visiting on Friday 17th May to take whole class photographs.

Friday 21 June – Year 4 visit to Ancient Technology Centre, Cranborne

Monday 24 June – Parents Evening for all year groups 5.00 – 6.30pm

Friday 28 June – Year 6 Transfer day to Secondary schools

Thursday 18 July - Year 6 Leavers Disco 7.00 – 9.00pm (more information to follow)

Tuesday 23 July – Break up for the summer holiday

Monday 2 September – Return to school for all children following the summer break
