Year 3
WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL AND....
Welcome to Year 3!
Welcome to the Year 3 Website Page!
The Year 3 teaching team is made up of Miss Touchin and Mrs Harley. We are looking forward to all the exciting activities that this term has in store for us and hope you are too! We have included some links to websites and important documents that you may find interesting and helpful. Have you seen the Kids' Zone? Play games, and visit some cool websites.
Please note that although we try our best to maintain the website to a high standard; Mudeford Junior School is not responsible for any of the external links to websites, nor is it responsible for any of the information which might appear in them.

KEY INSTANT RECALL FACTS
KIRFs are the 'Key Instant Recall Facts' that children need to secure during their primary years. They include facts such as number bonds and times tables. They are particularly useful when calculating, adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing but also underpin many other areas of mathematics.
The secret to success is practising little and often. Can you practise these KIRFs while walking to school or during a car journey? You don’t need to practise them all at once: perhaps you could have a fact of the day. If you would like more ideas, please speak to your child’s teacher. REMEMBER TO USE TIMESTABLES ROCKSTARS TO BUILD UP YOUR AUTOMATICITY.

Year 3 Agreement
We are very proud to be a UNICEF Rights Respecting School (Gold level).
Our class agreements are personalised by the children in a class and the staff supporting them.
The children learn about the rights that all children around the world have and think which of those may be supported during their time at Mudeford JS.
The children, as 'rights holders', think about rights that will support their learning and growth whilst at Mudeford JS. The adults, as 'duty barers' then think about what they can do to support the rights that the children have chosen.
