Reading journals- handed in on Tuesday (3TN and 3HY)

Children need to show that they have read twice during the week. They can complete a reading task. These can be found in the back of the reading journals. Children can work through them any order. Once a fortnight, the children will also have a reading comprehension task to complete. 

Times tables - The times tables quiz takes place every week. Children are given 5 minutes to complete their quiz. Please use the Times tables Rockstar APP to practise. 

Personal Spellings- Every Wednesday children will be tested on their personal spellings. These are 3 words taken from the Year 3/4 list or the Introductory Year 3 list. We would love you to support your child in learning these words. Each week they will be given a new strategy to practise the spellings. This will be marked on Wednesdays. 

Please can you ensure that your child has their reading and spelling journal in school every day.
